I was looking for a reputable breeder of Labradors as I had seen so many stories and I wanted to get the right breeder. Wow, I couldn’t have found a better breeder. Nichola was able to talk to me when ever I needed her either personally or through the puppy chat. She goes that extra mile from the mating to the birth and then to their new homes. We have a photo link to view our puppies growing, which enables us to bond with them from the start. The 1st puppy visit was amazing with mum and puppies and we were made to feel part of the family and we are still part of that family today. You may have to wait for your puppy but it’s certainly worth the wait.

The decision to get a labrador puppy is not to be taken lightly. We are delighted we made Bestevenn Labradors the choice for our third labrador, and could not be more delighted with our boy Tambo who is now 1 year old.
From the first contact we had with Nichola we were reassured by the level of care and attention to detail she showed. By the time we chose our puppy, Nichola clearly had a good understanding of the personality of each puppy. Tambo has definitely turned out to be friendly, a 'character', and a wonderful addition to the family. He is a very handsome dog with a wonderful friendly termperment and we know the combination of good breeding and the early experiences he had while in Nichola's care have been crucial in shaping his personality.

We've had Tambo 8 years now and he still brings joy every day. And I'm delighted to say we're also still in contact with Nichola... it's just amazing the way she continues to take an interest in the lives of all the Bestevenn family. We really enjoyed taking part in a recent reunion and got to meet so many of the beautiful and well adjusted dogs from the Bestevenn family from just a few months old right up to age 8. It's clear she's there for each and every family that have ever had one of her pups...and that is very reassuring when you make the decision to get a Labrador puppy.

Nic has been absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. We are so blessed with our gorgeous puppy Woody, now 17 weeks old. He has the sweetest, gentlest nature and has been so ‘easy’. He came almost completely toilet trained and I’m sure he is so calm and happy due to how Nic socialised and looked after the litter until they were 8 weeks. It’s so nice to still be in touch with the other families and with Nic who is always on hand for advice. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for a puppy!

We truly struck gold when we found Nichola. From the very first moment, it was clear that she isn’t just a breeder — she’s a passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly caring person who pours her heart into every puppy she raises.
Our dog Jimmy was born in January 2025, and we picked him up in March. During those early weeks, Nichola kept us informed and involved every step of the way, sharing updates, advice, and insights that made us feel confident and prepared to welcome him home. I’ve never felt so well-prepared for anything in my life!
Nichola doesn’t just raise beautiful, well-bred, healthy puppies — she creates a true community. The group of puppy parents we’ve met through her has become like an extended family. We regularly share updates in our sibling group on Facebook and feel so supported by everyone, all thanks to the wonderful environment Nichola has fostered.
You can feel the love and care she gives her dogs, especially on collection day — it’s such an emotional experience to see her say goodbye to her babies. It’s clear how much she adores each one of them.
Even after we brought Jimmy home, Nichola has always been just a phone call away. She’s patient, reassuring, and full of practical advice — honestly, I go to her before I even call the vet!
Nichola truly is one in a million. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything she’s done and continues to do. If you’re lucky enough to find her, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

Nichola is the best breeder I gave ever come across. I've never known anyone so committed and caring for her puppies and their prospective owners. She is always there for advice and guidance regardless of how old the puppy is. From her generosity with puppy gifts and the webcam to the training that she did before we picked Flo up, she couldn't do any more! Florence was virtually housetrained and a wonderfully friendly pup down to Nichola's early care and attention. Can't recommend her enough.

We are so glad we came to Nichola for our puppy - she gave Cookie a brilliant start in life and has been an amazing fount of knowledge and coach to us as first time dog owners ever since. She is always willing - even two years later- to offer wise advice on behaviour, health and more when we need to draw on her experience. And then of course we have lovely Cookie to keep us busy!

Well where can I start... Nichola is amazing, by far the best Labrador breeder around!! I had been on Nichola’s waiting list for over a year, waiting for one of her fox red labs. The whole time, she was fantastic, she kept us up to date with every step of the process. From the picking of the Sire, the health testing and the mating right up until the day we brought our pup home. She had cameras on the pups 24/7 which you can watch from home, she sent daily information leaflets and gave general information and answered any questions. She welcomed us into her home when the pups were 4 weeks old, to make our selection and we were then allowed to go see our pup every weekend so we were able to bond with him. We were given puppy packs, a handmade collar, a Labrador cuddly toy with our pups first collar attached to it, a handmade toy, his paperwork, treats etc. I have had the privilege of owning 5 labradors over the years, all from pups, but we have never had the experience with a breeder like we have had with Nichola. She goes above and beyond, and strives to improve the breeding of Labradors and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get a Labrador.
